Short term contract

Oversee the delivery of critical ICT infrastructure upgrades across digital hospitals.

Our client, a prominent healthcare organisation, is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead critical ICT infrastructure upgrades across various hospital sites. Taking on a hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery consistency across sites and managing complex stakeholder groups effectively.

This is a 4 month contract opportunity, based in Brisbane CBD's fringe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a project workforce consisting of employees, contractors and service organisations that provide program and project services ranging from design, through to operational readiness, commissioning and handover.
  • Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools.
  • Ensure project outcomes are achieved by leading and mentoring project teams to develop a strong, efficient, ethical and multi-disciplinary workforce.
  • Provide high level expert advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of complex, high-risk ICT projects to ensure program outcomes are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external state-wide stakeholders.
  • Oversee the monitoring and reporting of project-related trends, capability development and performance.

What you will bring:

  • Experience managing large ICT programs or projects within complex digital environments.
  • Health industry experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
  • An ability to manage major program/project budgets.
  • Project Management qualifications (eg. Prince2, MSP) would be highly regarded.
