Short-term contract

Leverage the delivery of ICT infrastructure upgrades across digital hospitals by supplying process and governance expertise.

Our client, a prominent healthcare organisation, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support critical ICT infrastructure upgrades across various hospital sites. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for supporting the development of a business case for the next project tranche and helping to tighten governance processes by mapping and documenting operations.

This is a 4 month contract opportunity, based in Brisbane CBD's fringe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture and analyse 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business process models using approved methods and tools.
  • Develop program artefacts to support standardisation and maturity of program/project governance and program/project delivery.
  • Develop business specifications for ICT projects, ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement, assessment and the development of a stakeholder matrix, and ongoing stakeholder management.

What you will bring:

  • Experience performing business analysis activities within complex ICT program/projects preferably within the health care industry.
  • Experience capturing and analysing 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business process models across large organisations, preferably using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
  • Knowledge in, and an ability to provide sound advice and recommendations on, the application of appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 3.0 (BABOK).
  • Proven effective negotiation, consultation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
