We invite applications from dynamic and flexible teachers for full time temporary District Relief Teaching (DRT) vacancies across Far North Queensland Region; commencing now and throughout 2021. If you enjoy variety in teaching experience and location, a DRT role is for you! This is your teaching opportunity to join in and collaborate across various school cluster locations in our beautiful Region.

Travel will be required to schools within the local clusters, and as the DRT you will be able to teach across year levels from Prep to Year 6, with some classes of multi-age students.

Location profile: Atherton Tablelands, Cairns Coastal, Cassowary Coast.

Base schools for DRTs include:

Atherton State School, Malanda State School, Mareeba State School, Miallo State School, Port Douglas State School, Goondi State School, Freshwater State School, Woree State School, Isabella State School.

Position duration: commencing ASAP until 10 December 2021.

As a District Relief Teacher (DRT) you will be employed by a base school, and be available to cover unexpected short-term absences, across nominated schools within the cluster of host schools. The DRT is a flexible position that can change from day to day to meet the needs of the individual schools in the cluster.   • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
