Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Debtors Officer for our Aged Care Services portfolio to provide a high standard of financial and administrative support within the Finance team and to both internal and external clients of AnglicareSA. You will be an exceptional communicator who loves working with numbers, where you will follow up overdue accounts, answer enquiries and bill resident fees. As an admin guru, you will be skilled in navigating computer systems and provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and resident representatives.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Provide a high standard of financial and administrative support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and process resident fees and on charges
  • Maintain resident accounts including admissions, discharges, fee and subsidy changes
  • Liaise with resident representatives on account enquiries, overdue resident accounts and finalisation of resident accounts
  • Manage outstanding debts in accordance with the Debt Management Framework
  • Provide support in other administrative tasks as required

What do you need to bring?

  • Experience in accounts receivable
  • Strong computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting packages
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Motivated with initiative to solving problems and seeking improvements
  • Qualifications in finance and/or accounting would be highly regarded
