A contract opportunity has become available in this fast growing organisation. Based in Brisbane CBD, this State head office has a highly engaged culture underpinned by a strong vision and success.

About the Role

Reporting to a supportive and collaborative senior Manager Communications, your role will have a wide scope of responsibilities, covering website and social media content, internal and external communications in addition to planning and drafting content for publication.

Liaising with all levels from General Manager through to Officers and externally with environmental and commercial stakeholders, no one day will be the same.

During this busy period you will assist you to achieve the key deliverables, including

Create, curate and manage all content published in digital and social channels, influence and implement best practice and produce exceptional copy and content.
Develop metrics that help define success and provide the basis for meaningful reporting on plans and execution.
Explore opportunities to grow and/or enhance our digital channels, keeping an eye on industry trends and reporting them to the team.
Champion content through all digital activities.
Influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and explain how content and communications can solve strategic business problems.

About You

In order for you to be successful for this role you will have the following:

Tertiary qualification in journalism, communications, public affairs, digital marketing or related fields.
Ability to think strategically and deliver tactically.
Significant experience creating content and social strategies across social and digital platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Proven experience in social and content development, social media advertising, creative content development, audience segmentation, media buying, implementation, management and reporting.
Sound knowledge of web, EDM and social monitoring tools (Google analytics etc).
Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to translate business priorities into content solutions.
Experience in maintaining websites and databases using a CMS
