Your Role

This role is responsible for providing customer focussed, efficient and cost-effective management of workers compensation claims with a view to returning the injured worker back to work.

You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:

  • Providing effective and efficient claims administration to ensure that injured workers receive fair and accurate compensation in accordance with relevant legislation:
  • Uploading of relevant data and information into systems in a timely manner
  • Proactive claims management support for internal stakeholders, including booking appointments and referrals, drafting and issuing letters to stakeholders, processing invoices
  • Provide high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation to ensure accurate claims advice is provided to our customers
  • Assisting with the compilation of relevant information and evidence for claim reviews
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry for determinations and payments, with a particular focus on compliance with legislation
  • Providing administrative support to Return to Work Specialist

  • Experience in Claims Management/Workers Compensation
  • Knowledge of the relevant Acts and Legislation is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to empathise and build relationships with people at all levels
