Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications and working with a young, tight-knit marketing team you will have responsibility for student acquisition activity for one of Victoria’s largest TAFEs.

You will be an essential part of the organisation’s future direction and your contribution here will matter.

Managing a small team, your portfolio oversees the provision of tailored marketing advice to all areas of the business (B2B and B2C). You will manage the implementation of the Holmesglen brand and an exciting annual events program including regular open days, Awards Festival and career expos. You will also manage the day-to-day relationships with key external partners and media agencies, book Holmesglen’s annual campaign advertising, and be a key driver of our brand’s evolution.

In particular, the purpose of the position is to:

  • Manage, develop and lead a small team of dedicated marketing professionals
  • Manage the development, implementation, and review of integrated marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Actively manage the Holmesglen brand by monitoring our Style Guide, approving brand applications on all channels and working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Increase brand awareness and consideration as well as build our market position
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a fast paced environment

We are looking for applicants with the following:

  • A degree-level tertiary qualification in marketing (or related field) with a minimum of five years’ expertise in a marketing and or events role
  • Significant demonstrated experience in brand and campaign management
  • Experience in traditional and emerging marketing channels and aligning the needs of the target audience with the development and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Hands-on leadership experience when it comes to events, and being a supportive role model for your team to look up to
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the business
  • Experience in lead generation marketing techniques
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively in an environment of change
  • Proven ability to lead and influence a team and foster a positive working environment

Salary: $84,310 - $92,862 p.a pro rata, plus 9.5% super and annual leave loading
Time Fraction: Full time, 1.0 EFT
Location: Chadstone campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Ongoing Contract of Employment.
