How will I help?

Rock-solid relationships are at the heart of every Commercial banking decision we make. In this role you’ll add value as a credit writing specialist, working on a portfolio of Commercial Banking’s highest value and most complex lending transactions. You will have primary responsibility for preparing high-quality credit submissions, which will involve:

Working collaboratively with analysts, product specialists, and relationship managers to initiate and structure a range of banking transactions
Looking into risk profiling, financial analysis and related credit submission activities to support upcoming deals
Monitoring and managing risk across customer portfolios
Playing a critical role in protecting the Bank’s assets by applying sound credit management practices.

What do I need?

You’ll need to have some serious financial smarts, ideally from prior experience within a commercial lending environment or a strong knowledge of complex lending structures and risk analysis. You’ll be a natural communicator, with good attention to detail and a strong achievement focus. You’ll stand an even better chance of getting this role if you have:

A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Finance or Accounting)
Cash flow modelling skills would be beneficial
Product knowledge across financial markets, debt markets, transactional banking, and working capital services products.
