You will support the HR Manager in the provision of HR services for their business Australia wide. 
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the role will gain exposure to most aspects of HR however predominantly focus on recruitment & selection and general HR administration. 
The successful candidate will be given training and development, however the role will suit candidates who possess previous Recruitment or HR experience.
This role is Full-time, Monday to Friday, based in our Head Office located in Eastern Creek and is Maternity Leave cover position. 
Specific work responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Undertakes all administrative duties associated with the human resources function with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Maintain records kept within the human resources department and ensure employee documents are updated
  • Maintain document control including filing and scanning documents into appropriate employee files, paying close attention to onboarding and termination documents
  • Confirm right to work and monitor the immigration status
  • Assist with recruitment and induction processes including screening applications, organizing and conducting phone interviews and reference checks
  • Responds to inquiries from employees and managers regarding policies and procedures
  • Ensures that accurate and updated job descriptions are in place, identifies training and development opportunities
  • Assist with updating polices and uploading to staff intranet as required
  • Maintain Vocam training platform
  • Act as liaison between employee and management
  • Assist with employee engagement including organizing and distributing vouchers for birthday and anniversaries
  • Consistently demonstrating situation sensitivity and confidentiality to ensure that the HR team is seen as trusted and valued within the organisation

  • Qualification in Human Resource Management (or studying towards a qualification in HRM)
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of Work Health & Safety
