What you'll be doing
To provide a high quality speech pathology service to patients/clients and their carers to ensure optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment and intervention in a multidisciplinary setting. The speech pathologist is also responsible for undertaking designated non-clinical tasks to support service delivery including clinical supervision, quality improvement activities and administrative tasks.

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible

  1. Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
  2. Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills in the assessment and management of paediatric clients with a variety of predominantly communication and also feeding difficulties.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in working with clients from an Aboriginal and/or a culturally and linguistically diverse background.
  4. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  5. Knowledge of and the demonstrated ability to implement the quality improvement process.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and commitment to evidence based practice.
  8. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
