eHealth NSW has successfully adopted and applied agile values, principles, and practices into parts of the Service Delivery directorate. The Agile Capability and Devops Coaching team plays an important role with leading, supporting and embedding Agile and DevOps ways of working across eHealth.

About the Opportunity

As an agile coach you will play a key role in the broader implementation and adoption of agile ways of working across eHealth NSW. You will influence the engagement, processes and practices to bring agile culture and values to life. You will help eHealth NSW adopt and grow agile ways of working in the pursuit of patient and clinician focussed outcomes.

You’ll be responsible for coaching, facilitating and enabling a change to value-stream delivery of strategic and operational Agile projects to meet organisational objectives within a hybrid of Traditional and Agile frameworks.

As an empathetic systems thinker with DevOps experience you apply different lenses to keep people and changes aligned with the bigger picture. Beyond applying agile methodologies and practices, you have experience working with stakeholders to identify challenges and work through them for sustainable positive change.

You seek to take an active role in an agile coaching team that understands that traditional models of organisations are constraints, so you build and strengthen communities of continuous learning and improvement.

We’re looking for hands on people who value progress over perfection. The ability to work in ambiguous environments and solve problems will see you succeed in the role. Your mindset and approach to uncertainty and complexity will be collaborative, customer-experience centred, with a willingness to experiment and bring challenger thinking.

Where you’ll be working

eHealth NSW encourages flexible working arrangements. At this time, most eHealth staff are working remotely and you are expected to coach and work this way.

When Public Health Orders permit, you will be based at Chatswood or Parramatta, with some travel between these 2 locations. There may be infrequent travel to Newcastle.
