  • Salary range from $64,973 pa to $124,786 pa plus super (Professional Officer Grade 1/4)

As a Senior Microbiologist Q Fever the successful applicant will undertake microbiological research projects to support the development and validation of a Q Fever vaccine for humans. 

We are looking for applicants with a degree qualification in Microbiology and who have extensive experience working in clinical or veterinary laboratories, preferably with pathogenic microbes. Experience with Coxiella burnetii or other category 3 pathogens and working in BC3 laboratories would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given to the successful applicant, who must be willing to have Q fever vaccination.
