ABOUT THE ROLE

The Cyber Security Training and Awareness Officer is responsible for supporting staff communications, cyber awareness campaigns, events, formal & informal training, site visits and key stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU

You have experience working within a technology training or awareness environment, supporting the implementation of awareness initiatives across a regionally dispersed and complex organisation. You will support staff communications, cyber awareness campaigns, events, formal & informal training and site visits.

You have impeccable communication skills and enjoy building trusting relationships, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and taking initiative towards innovation and best practice. You will collaborate with the Cyber Awareness Lead to develop cyber security awareness training materials and communications to ensure all employees, contractors and outsourced Systems Group service providers engage in cyber safe behaviours.

Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

  2. Experience working within a cyber security environment, including working within cyber security awareness in a large geographically, dispersed organisation.

  3. Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description

HIGHLY REGARDED

  • Knowledge of current cyber security awareness risks and behaviour change methodologies

  • Prior experience creating learning materials, preferably cyber security awareness

  • Experience in delivering online and face to face training in a large organisation

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE

This position offers a base salary range of $83,885 - $90,336 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
