Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic Physiotherapist to join our Cardio-Vascular Services team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!

Do you hold current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration and degree, or equivalent, in Physiotherapy, ensuring eligibility for full membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association with experience at Level 2 or higher?

Do you have demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Physiotherapy?

This position requires an enthusiastic, caring and personable physiotherapist to be responsible for providing high quality evidence based clinical services for inpatients admitted to Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiology, Vascular and Renal wards at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

This position is responsible for a clinical caseload and supervision of two rotational physiotherapists. This includes the management of complex caseloads and implementation of evidence based practice.

  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and extensive clinical experience in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy within an acute hospital setting.
  • Personal commitment to ongoing professional development, including an understanding of current research.
  • The ability to work independently and as an involved member of the multidisciplinary team.
