The John Holland, Seymour Whyte and AECOM Joint Venture (HSA) has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the Edmonton to Gordonvale (E2G) Project, south of Cairns.

The Bruce Highway – Cairns Southern Access Corridor – Stage 3: Edmonton to Gordonvale project is part of the 15-year Bruce Highway Upgrade Program, a $12.6 billion program of works to improve safety, flood resilience and capacity along the Bruce Highway from Brisbane to Cairns. The program is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments. The works will deliver a total transport solution and long-term improvements to traffic flow and road safety through reducing congestion, reducing highway travel time and improving road access.


In preparation for construction of the Project HSA Group is looking to build our talent pool and are seeking motivated, talented and driven individuals to join the team to help deliver this iconic project. HSA is committed to providing local job opportunities and encourages residents to apply.

  • Form workers and Carpenters – with previous experience in the construction of bridges / retaining walls / culverts / pits / headwalls

Requirements for consideration are;


  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • White Card
  • Operating Tickets/Licences and Trade certs required for the relevant positions listed above.
  • Experience in the construction of bridges / retaining walls / culverts / pits / headwalls
  • No FIFO or DIDO - all applicants must reside locally.
