YY Group Pty Ltd is a construction company located in Prospect South Australia SA 5082. With the development of the company and the continuous expansion of the team, several construction projects are currently in operation. As the team expands, we need a Contract Administrator to help the team manage projects and monitor the progress of projects and to deal with all the contracts with developers, external designers, builders, and different types of material suppliers and other stakeholders of different projects. A Contract Administrator will oversee the delivery of goods, materials, and equipment to ensure that everything matches the contract. This often involves visiting several sites and doing proper inspections.

Job responsibilities:

  • Draft and amend different types of contracts on behalf of the company, including contracts with developers, external designers, builders, and different types of material suppliers and other stakeholders of different projects
  • Review and update existing contracts and explain terms and conditions to the manager, contractors and other project stakeholders
  • Manage paperwork associated with contracts, and develop, review and negotiate variations to contracts, projects and services
  • Set the budget for the project as a whole, including material cost, external design team cost, labor cost, and monitor the project as it is implemented to ensure that the contract plan is followed
  • Work with Project Managers, Architects, Engineering Professionals, owners and other project stakeholders to ensure that goals are met
  • Collect and analyze data associated with projects undertaken, and report on project outcomes
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments and the shipping of materials ordered)
  • Ensure relevant documentation accompany contracts, and maintain digital and hard copies of relevant documentation
  • Ensure laws and regulations are interpreted correctly, and responsibilities of stakeholders are clearly outlined


  • Proven over 5 years work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Officer or relevant role;
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office software (Microsoft Excel, Word);
  • Strong written and oral English communications skills, have the ability to use another language is preferred;
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills;
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
  • Previous commercial and residential projects experience, have experiences of working with contractors and multiple sub-contractors;
