Based at our workshop in Pinkenba, this role requires a dynamic person that is willing to learn and continuously develop their skills.

You will be working towards completing your qualification or willing to take on an apprenticeship, whilst working within a professional, team environment. The apprentice must demonstrate that they are constantly learning, not only their trade, but developing their personal interaction skills within a professional, high pressure working environment.

You will be learning the Mechanical Fitter’s trade whilst assisting the qualified fitters on a day to day basis. Through the course of their apprenticeship, the apprentice will develop expertise in FLSmidth products and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

Abiding and upholding all safety rules, regulations and legislation.
Carrying out repairs to FLSmidth equipment.
Completing modifications to FLSmidth equipment.
Attendance at relevant course to obtain Mechanical Fitters qualifications
