Job Description


Toll's long-standing relationships with major retailers has provided us with a comprehensive understanding of the needs and expectations of the retail sector. Our scale is a key differentiator during peak periods - our access to fleet and resources, combined with a can-do attitude, helps ensure store deliveries are efficient and reliable. We have the flexibility to make the shift from conventional distribution channels, with initiatives such as quick response replenishment systems and cross-docking

We are currently looking for a Transport Supervisor to join our team supporting Coles in Queensland.

This is a AM role, shift pattern is 4 days on 4 days off, based at the Coles DC in Parkinson.

As a Transport Supervisor with Toll, you will:

  • Coordinate our grocery fleet by planning and scheduling deliveries
  • Ensure all of Toll’s compliance and safety obligations are met
  • Provide direct customer service to Coles, ensuring all KPI’s are met
  • Communicate rosters to Driver, addressing absenteeism and supporting with any delivery and performance related issues
  • Support management with contract performance reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational activities

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in the Transport industry
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A comprehensive knowledge of legislation, regulations and fatigue management would be an advantage
  • High level of planning and organisational skills
  • Be a great team player with the ability to influence in a positive manner
  • Skills in; Excel, Word and Outlook and experience using in-house Fleet /Freight databases
