Who we are
Cire Services is a large community based, not for profit organisation servicing the Yarra Ranges and beyond. Cire provides a range of services to meet community need through life-long learning. We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providing accredited, pre-accredited, work skills and leisure courses. We also have a community school with three campuses, family and children’s services throughout the Yarra Ranges and two community hubs located in Chirnside Park and Yarra Junction.

Cire is a Child Safe organisation and prides itself on advocating for the rights of children and young people.

About the role
The Training team are dedicated, professional and friendly with a strong desire to make a difference to their student’s experience. Led by our supportive and experienced Training Manager, they are focused on creating a culture that supports development, inclusion and engagement. You will be joining a team that are committed to service excellence and will be given the tools and support to ensure your success.

The Trainer and Assessor will deliver and assess Certificate IV in Education Support in a virtual classroom environment. As an experienced Trainer and Assessor, you will take pride in developing and delivering high quality and industry relevant training and assessment, along with ensuring the course is compliant with industry regulation and standards. You will be passionate about teaching and preparing future education supporters and be focused on the student experience.

As an engaging and collaborative trainer and assessor, you will:

Hold a Certificate IV in Education Support or Bachelor of Education
Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Have relevant industry experience that allows you to connect theory to practice
Be creative in your approach to developing and delivering training and assessment to ensure a positive student experience in a virtual classroom environment
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build rapport with students and maintain their engagement
Be a team player that recognises the importance of a strong team culture and the need to openly collaborate in a friendly and supportive manner
Have strong organisational skills along with attention to detail

Experience delivering training online via Collaborate or other platforms would be advantageous but not essential.
