The Platform Operations Specialist position is an integral part of the Colonial First State Operations division that will provide support to Customers, Advisers and the broader Operations area. As the business takes on the challenges of bringing on new clients/customers specific focus needs to be given to service excellence in this growing & changing environment.

Please note the position is based at our offices at Camberwell Road, Hawthorn East and the team operates on a rotating shift pattern so that the hours of 8am - 7 pm are suitably covered Monday to Friday.

The Customer Relations Team is responsible for the day to day service and support provided to Advisers and their support teams and at times their investors/members. The role works with the wider Colonial First State Custom Solutions business to ensure that adviser’s questions and support requests are thoroughly investigated, assessed and responded to with a high level of engagement and service.

In any given week you will (A snap shot);

Provide responses to queries/requests received via phone, email and mail and arrange for escalated issues to be tracked to completion and prioritised and corrected;

Provide proactive platform navigation to Adviser’s and their support staff;

Ensure that all queries/ requests are actioned to a set standard of service and quality and that all calls, issues and errors are logged and managed effectively;

Ensure adherence to roster and break times and effectively utilise all available time to manage outstanding issues

Actively participate in an environment of continuous improvement to achieve high quality outcomes;

Role model and promote the Behaviours and People Capabilities at all times across own team and other teams.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Previous contact centre experience is desirable

Previous experience with financial planning products and/or in the financial services industry would be advantageous

Exceptional customer service ethic and strong communication skills

Demonstrated their ability to work effectively in a team environment

An ability to create an environment of continuous improvement and quality

A minimum requirement is VCE (or equivalent). RG146 is highly desirable.

CBA has entered into an agreement with KKR to sell a 55% interest in its CFS superannuation and investments business for total cash consideration of $1.7billion (implying a total valuation of $3.3billion). CBA will retain a 45% shareholding in CFS.

As this is a role to work in the CFS business, the successful candidate will initially be employed by the CBA Group but on sale completion, their employment will transfer to a new entity that will employ the CFS business employees from completion.
