Your new team

The Strategy, Brand and Reputation group evolves and promotes the AustralianSuper brand as a consistent, holistic pledge to existing or potential members. The team is also involved in gathering and interpreting member and business insights, the design and review of our product offer and establishing our policy positions.

Your new role

  • The role of a Program Director is to work with the senior leaders across the fund to understand regulatory changes and then plan and implement the response
  • Monitor potential regulatory change and identify the pipeline of work
  • Identify potential policy, legislation/regulation changes that may impact the Fund
  • Maintain a central log of potential change
  • Capture the pipeline and initially size the work (applying a defined methodology)
  • Determine at high level what is to be managed at Fund, group, team and project level
  • Perform a Triage & Accountability role and allocate accordingly based on the change being simple, Complex or strategic
  • Consult widely with the business to assess the impact of the proposed changes in detail
  • Establish a rolling 3-year program of work
  • Establish the budget and benefits of the program as part of the business planning process
  • Track progress and monitor and report on regulatory change actions
  • Engage with project experts and applicable business stakeholder/s to deliver the program
  • This is a new role and will require building and managing a high performing
  • Work with key stakeholders to agree ways of working
  • Map & document detailed assessment processes inc. Change, risk, controls and reporting
  • Risks are identified, analysed, mitigated (or escalated) where appropriate to ensure strong risk management across the program.
  • Ensuring the program is fully compliant with regulatory requirements.

What you'll need

  • Proven expertise in business / regulatory / compliance project delivery
  • Expert experience in services sector projects and portfolio management, including business, product or process projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in and understanding of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs.
  • Expert in the practical application of resource, project risk and change management methodologies and techniques
  • Demonstrated personal resilience in dealing with program challenges
  • Ability to troubleshoot with strong analytical skills
  • Skilled in managing C-level executive relationships, governance, steering committees.
  • Can comfortably lead people and fit in the AustralianSuper Culture.
  • Inclusive, collaborative and engaging approach; including the ability to consult, facilitate, negotiate and influence with a broad range of people at all levels
