JOB DESCRIPTION

The Customer Service Officer is required to be responsive to customers, effective in management of work, and efficient in the processing and delivery of service at all times. Providing world class experience to each and every customer is at the heart of every decision you make.

The suitable applicant will need to perform and be responsible for the following:

  • Delivering a positive customer experience through face-to-face contact at service locations and at a dedicated call centre via telephone, mail, email, online, live chat and other electronic media
  • Responsible for the accurate entering and reconciliation of all financial transactions on a daily basis
  • Processing and resolving customer enquiries and complaints
  • Providing relevant and accurate information of available services

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Previous experience working with a diverse range of computer and cash handling systems
  • Ability to communicate with staff across all levels
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to effectively negotiate, problem solve and deal with complex customer enquiries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a current National Criminal Records Check.
