JOB DESCRIPTION

We are on the hunt for a talented Mid-to-Senior Graphic Designer for Traffic Sydney. You will need to be able to combine creative flair with solid design thinking, attention to detail and artworking skills to produce high-quality, award-winning creative work. 

As a Mid-to-Senior Graphic Designer at Traffic, you’ll get to showcase your expertise in developing high-quality work for some of Australia’s best brands across brand, print, video and digital projects. More specifically, you’ll get to:

  • Design on-brand creative solutions for a variety of uses including printed communications, websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, and photography 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that are creative, engaging, meaningful, and align with technical and brand standards
  • Develop ideas from concept to execution, working with project managers, design colleagues, information technologists and content experts to deliver effective user experiences
  • Use the latest software and applications to design and develop creative solutions.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need

  • Minimum 2 years of design industry/studio experience
  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Brand design experience
  • An understanding of Web / UX / Digital design 
  • High level of technical capability and understanding of best practice techniques and processes for digital, web and print design
  • Adobe Creative Suite expertise (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and XD)
  • An inspiring portfolio of real work, that showcases your abilities


You will be dynamic in your understanding and outlook of projects and think creatively using a strong design direction, to produce innovative user experiences that meet product goals and clients’ needs.


You will be expected to have strong and up-to-date technical knowledge and have an enthusiasm for all aspects of design and how this integrates with the brand and corporate design.

You will work towards winning industry awards for the agency in both the design and digital spheres.

You need to demonstrate expertise across online and offline platforms creating a wide scope of materials such as sites, HTML emails, web banners, and animations. This will include the design and creation of assets used for advertising and events, along with brochures, magazines and other print collateral.

Desired Skills & Experience



You will be responsible for:

  • Working on projects from concept to completion, including art direction
  • Developing strong design and campaign ideas for a broad variety of client types
  • Working on both print and digital projects

You will possess the following skillset:

  • A spectacular portfolio of work for innovative brands
  • A thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • A knowledge of After Effects would be advantageous as would experience with HTML and CSS
  • On and offline experience
