The opportunity

We currently have a newly created position within our Australia Pacific Marketing and Communications team. The Communications Lead’s purpose is to plan, develop and execute on communications, internal engagement and content activities across the Australia Pacific division, aligned to strategic business priorities and goals.

You will support and work closely with the Senior Communications Manager of AUSPAC and associated teams to help the business achieve its objectives. You’ll focus on internal communications and engagement, but this is a hybrid role so will work across all our communications channels, including content and social media.

  • Balance multiple priorities, ability to write for a variety of audiences and channels (including social media and internal channels
  • Work independently and as part of a team, keep others informed through clear written and oral communication and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Plan, develop and execute communications and storytelling content aligned to strategic business priorities and goals for all communications and content channels, with a focus on internal comms.
  • Engage with stakeholders and help leaders improve their comms effectiveness.
  • Provide expert content advice and guidance to ensure key messages are delivered effectively and aligned to marketing and communications objectives
  • Ability to think creatively and drive creative outputs with energy

Your story so far

  • You will have some experience with senior executives and leadership teams to help communicate strategies, priorities, and initiatives to increase engagement.
  • You have experience in planning and executing communication campaigns, programs, and events.
  • You have advanced experience in writing, editing, briefing in and copy checking executive communications, editorial articles, social posts, talking points and scripts.
  • You will have a creative and collaborative mindset and willingness to come up with new ideas and ways of doing things
  • You will ideally have a tertiary education in Business, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations
