Position Summary
Receptionist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Receptionist to join the Consulting Suites team at Latrobe Regional Hospital on a part time basis for 40 hours per fortnight.
Reporting to the Business Manager the successful applicant will play an important role in Reception of patients and Specialists handled effectively and efficiently with a quality patient focus.

The successful applicant will be required to:
Demonstrate experience in an office administrator’s role
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to rapidly acquire a sound knowledge of the structure and functions of the administrative systems.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Basic computer skills particularly in word processing
Demonstrate organisational skills
To be successful in this position you will need to have:
The ability to perform secretarial, reception and clerical tasks
Knowledge and skill in a busy administrative office/clinic
A strong quality customer focus
Outstanding organisational and daily management skills
A sound knowledge of general office procedures
The ability and confidence to anticipate the needs of the service to ensure an efficient and coordinated working environment
The ability to work without close supervision
A responsible and mature work attitude
A flexible approach to tasks
Excellent verbal communication skills
The ability to work in a team environment
Clear experience of working with MS office suite of products
