Full Job Description
Our client, a well-known Government business enterprise is currently seeking a Marketing Data Analyst for an initial 6 month contract.

The Role:
This position is responsible for the data deployment of enterprise-wide multi-channel campaign and service customer communications, working closely with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. This includes the managing and configuration of campaign parameters and preparation of campaign data files, applying appropriate QA and compliance process controls, and proactively driving a continuous improvement program to strengthen and automate campaign processes. In addition, the role will be required to support the development of integrated customer data reporting and customer segmentation contributing to an improved customer experience. The role may also assist in other master data management and data governance related activities to achieve outcomes that enhance customer data assets.

Essential to the role is a technically strong data and analytics practitioner who has strong attention for detail and sound process-oriented problem-solving skills.

Key Accountabilities:
Management of data execution of enterprise wide customer campaign and service notifications, according to business requirements.
Applying appropriate quality assurance and compliance controls to CRM campaign data.
Management of the CRM campaign operational risk log, identifying key areas for process improvement.
Accurate interpretation of marketing briefs into technical data specifications, working closely with stakeholders in the Marketing and Commercial Services teams
Analysis, reporting and resolution of customer data quality issues, maintaining customer metadata, assist in the design and deployment of CRM and analytics data operations, and advising and participating in continuous improvement programmes to drive better utilisation of customer data and associated analytical data assets.
Driving multi-channel personalisation through automated workflows to enrich Digital & Data platforms, acting as a conduit between Technology and Digital & Data teams in integrating automation feeds into the relevant platforms.
Leveraging data from our core systems to build and measure segmentations.
Supporting the construction and maintenance of appropriate customer data management analytical views (e.g. integrated CRM data sets that can be used for campaign targeting).
Develop, implement, and maintain reporting and analytical solutions which assist the business with making informed business decisions.
Master data management and governance related activity to achieve outcomes that enhance customer data assets.

Experience and skills:
  • Excellent organisational / time management skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical and process thinking combining business acumen.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Sound problem-solving skills to investigate critical business issues using technology and data-based processes.
  • Experience in deploying campaign data across multiple channels.
  • Experience in working with marketing technology platforms to deliver personalization specifically Customer Data Platform management
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets.
  • Outstanding data analytical and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge and use of MDM tools such as Master Data Maestro or equivalent toolkit.
  • Experience in developing dashboards and data visualisations.
