About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to provide high quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, medical staff and non-medical staff in a safe and caring environment.

The position is responsible for undertaking medical imaging examinations on inpatients and other patients referred by medical practitioners, whilst maintaining and adhering to safety procedures to optimise patient safety and comfort during radiology examinations.

This ongoing part time position (minimum of 36 hours per fortnight) at our Camperdown Campus is the perfect opportunity for those seeking a work/life balance.

What you bring

The successful applicant will have a strong awareness of all aspects of radiation safety and an ability to interact effectively with patients and other staff. Demonstrate a continuous commitment to improving skills and education in medical imaging and good communication skills. An appropriate medical imaging qualification recognised by the Australian Institute of Radiation, current Victorian radiation use licence and current registration with AHPRA are essential.
