Full Job Description
An excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door of a legal environment !

This role is responsible for providing support both of a general and specific nature, to the Insurance Liability Unit. Working closely with legally qualified Account Managers this role involves, among other responsibilities, general data entry, working in the Claim Database (Carica) and DMS (Organise It), sending correspondence and a range of other administrative duties as required. This support role is key to the success of administrative functions within the Insurance liability business, as well as assisting to achieve a superior service experience for our clients and customers.

May include the following:
1) Administrative Support - Technical

Drafting of key documents including legal release agreements and claim denials
Drafting letters of instruction to doctors for IME appointments and plaintiff lawyers
Booking IME appointments
Completing Medicare Notices of Settlement

2) Utilisation of Carica

Entering and opening claims in Carica for the Insurance team, as required - Entering incidents into Carica for the Insurance team
Entering Journal payments into Carica for the Insurance team
Preparing letters
Basic claim database management as required

3) Administrative Support - General

Distribution of correspondence
Archiving files for the Insurance team
Set up of new clients in the required systems for the Insurance team
Creation of online reports as requested by the Insurance team
Copying of Organise It files as required for the Insurance team
Burning DVDs and viewing of CCTV as requested by the Insurance team
Photocopying, printing and other ad hoc office duties
Backup responsibilities for manning our centralised reception phone line

4) Supporting the achievement of company goals and vision
