The City of Monash has a dedicated Customer Service Unit to support its drive to continual service excellence across 3 locations comprising a busy Contact centre / Service desk.

About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated individual who has the drive and passion to continually exceed the customer’s expectations. You will have previous experience in a Local Government customer service role, including a high volume contact centre environment, (including Live Chat), front counter enquiries, cashiering & administrative tasks. You will have a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver a warm, genuine and efficient level of service and have a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a fast paced environment. Equally important is the ability to work in a team environment where you are willing to support and encourage your colleagues. To compliment this you will have a desire to want to make a difference.

Skills and Experience:
A commitment to consistently delivering a high quality customer experience

Local Government experience

Contact Centre experience (essential)

Cash handling and EOD balancing

Proven ability to achieve results & to achieve KPI’s

A commitment to working in a team environment

Excellent communication skills

Excellent Interpersonal skills

Extensive experience in applications, such as Infor Pathway, Microsoft package, (including Weave mapping system)

Requirement of the position:
The position will be across core hours Monday - Friday.
