Job Description

The role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Controller to join our Global Express team based at the Melbourne Airport. This role is an essential part of the business, as you are required to respond in real-time and manage on-road safety critical incidents through monitoring the fleet of multiple business units. Additionally, the role involves monitoring departure and arrival times in accordance with the business requirements.

As the Operations Controller, you will:
Coordinate and monitor fleet arrivals, departures and respond to on road events
Evaluate and respond to tracking in a timely and effective manner
Provide support to drivers regarding queries
Support multiple business units throughout Toll Australia
Maintain effective communication with the team and employees
Seek out ways to improve customer service outcomes


About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in a similar role within the transport industry.
Experience in a control room environment - highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
The ability to be adaptable to an evolving environment.
The ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task.
Intermediate MS Office skills - Excel, Word and Outlook.
Capability to work in a team and autonomously.
