The Case Manager, Injury Management is accountable to the Manager, Injury Management for administering an effective claims management operation ensuring legislative compliance to accord with the Return to Work Act 2014 , SAPOL’s Injury and Absence Management Policy and Work Cover Performance Standards for Self-Insurers Employer.

The role will assist in the development, maintenance and innovative approach to claims and compensation systems, practices, policies and procedures. The role works in close partnership with managers, employees and their representatives to deliver claims and compensation services, including consultancy, claim determinations, monitoring and approval of costs, negotiation and resolution of disputes.

Selection Criteria

  • Australian residency or current work permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).
  • Out of hours work may be required
  • Inter and Intra-state travel may be required.
  • Requirement to participate in SAPOL’s Individual Performance Management Program.
  • Abide by the standards in the Code of Ethics for the South Australian Public Sector (the Code).

Tertiary qualification or a relevant certification in this discipline (i.e. Certificate 4 in Personal Injury and or Frontline Management or other relevant qualification
