In this Product manager role, you will be a key member of the Product Management team within the Higher Education division. You will be accountable for leading cross-functional efforts to define, plan and deliver locally developed products within the Higher Ed courseware portfolio, leveraging Pearson’s global product capabilities. As part of your role, you will also support other team members with the expert understanding that you will develop of Pearson’s key global digital product models - MyLab, Mastering, Revel, and eText - as well as the platforms and back-end applications that support them.

As a Product Manager you will:
Lead the product discovery and definition phase to distill user stories and acceptance criteria, and define solutions that leverage our expertise in content development, learning design, efficacy, and technology

Ensure digital content development and delivery meets product requirements and release targets by tracking content and feature development, and facilitating regular sprint planning

Own and deliver on key product success metrics

Launch products and capabilities internally, educate and support sales and marketing efforts

Qualifications

Product development experience in digital learning applications or other educational technologies

Experience synthesising customer needs and articulating/prioritising product requirements

Experience working within both Agile and waterfall project methodologies

Ability to deal with ambiguity, find creative resolutions and drive for results

Ability to hit the ground running - a confident self-starter, with experience managing through influence
