Manager, Program Delivery

  • $124,033 - $165,983 (Plus Superannuation)
  • 12 months Fixed Term / Full Time
  • Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)

The position of Manager, Program Delivery will be responsible for managing the implementation and delivery of grant programs managed by the Jobs, Innovation and Business Engagement (JIBE) Group. Reporting to the Director, Business Programs and managing staff within the Program Delivery team, the position works closely with a wide variety of departmental, government and industry stakeholders to ensure that funds and programs are delivered in line with guidelines and administrative arrangements, best practise governance and due diligence.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of business and worker support programs delivered by the branch. This will include managing assessment, contract management, monitoring and review of projects, with significant focus on accountability for the management of funds and delivery of program outcomes.
  • Manage the identification, development and resolution of policy, procedural and financial issues in relation to grants programs and provide secretariate support to relevant panels and committees made up of senior executives.
  • Research, analyse and critically evaluate information to establish a strong evidentiary basis and ensure that external and internal environmental factors and relevant legislation, policies and protocols are considered in developing and implementing projects.
  • Prepare high quality communication materials including briefings, reports, grant program documentation, ministerial correspondence and analysis for diverse stakeholders and senior decision makers.

To be successful you will be a capable project manager with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships and partnerships within a highly complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

You will have a good track record of program design and delivery, understand the Victorian Government's economic development priorities and have experience in leading high-performing teams. You are comfortable managing competing demands in a high-performing, fast-paced environment

Previous experience managing grant programs with a high level of experience using GEMS program management in Salesforce would be highly regarded.
