JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely, quality-assured projects and corporate support to the compulsory acquisition valuation function of VGV.

The Administration Officer for Valuer General Victoria (VGV) is responsible for providing timely, quality-assured project and corporate support to the compulsory acquisition valuation function of VGV.

Supporting the Valuer General and Compulsory Acquisition Valuation team, this role will require an individual with proven experience in managing projects and staff, providing advice on valuation projects. The successful candidate will manage the provision of sensitive valuations and policy advice for Government in accordance with the Valuation of Land Act 1960 and Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of government processes and business systems and suite of tools currently in use for Word processing, report and brief writing, IT, HR, procurement and finance systems.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the delivery of compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance requirements
