The Role

Our facilities maintenance team managing the Royal Children's Hospital contract represents one of our largest facilities management contracts in the Government-Health sector in Melbourne. The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) is the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria.

As the Facilities Manager, Spotless provide all Asset Management and Maintenance services, Security services, Grounds and Gardens Maintenance and Car Park Management.

You will be part of the Operations team, reporting to the Operations Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join this team working with an important client with responsibilities including:

Provide technical advice across multiple infrastructure services including, but not limited to planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of all plant on site including HVAC; Electrical distribution system including HV and LV; Diesel generators; trigeneration and UPS systems; Hydraulic services; Medical gas systems; Building management systems e.g. SCADA/ION; other plant and equipment required on a health facility site.
Management and scheduling of all reactive and preventative maintenance tasks necessary to achieve an effective maintenance function, in accordance with the Service Agreements.

About You

Vital to your success will be your ability to identify and set priorities within a complex facility as well as developing, monitoring and evaluating the performance of subcontractors. You will have a Tertiary qualification in a Technical or Engineering field and / or technical expertise in a Facility Management / Building Maintenance, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar and the following experience:

Minimum five (5) years within the Health sector
Experience with the delivery of service-based maintenance contracts ensuring building services are operating efficiently and effectively
Highly effective planning, reporting and prioritising skills.
Demonstrated experience in critical thinking and problem solving.
