Permanent full time Inbound sales role located in Box Hill

Your new company

Hays are currently recruiting Inbound Sales Consultants for a Solar Energy company. You will be part of a highly reputable organisation that has been in the industry for over 30 years. In addition, you will be surrounded by a lively and social team selling Solar Batteries and Solar Panels. The company is currently seeking a motivated, positive and hard-working candidate that thrives to be a successful performer


You will be working full time in the Box Hill office from Monday to Friday

  • Office based in Box Hill
  • Monday - Friday (normal business hours)
  • Full time role on a contract basis with the view to go permanent
  • Salary: $28/hour + super + commission paid per sale



Start date: Beginning of July. Interviews this week.


Your new role

In your role, your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Inbound sales only consisting of warm leads, no cold calling
  • Provided a script to effectively communicate the suitability and ideal match of products for the customer
  • Answering calls from customers who have received marketing material that are requesting more information about the products and its benefits.
  • Responsible for objection handling and closing the sale on the phone

  • Ability to maintain resilience with persuading customers about why their products and services would are highly beneficial for them
  • Active listener of customers' concerns and preferences
  • Ability to think on their feet under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills to learn and navigate around the system
  • Overcome objections which may not be scripted Resilient work ethic when dealing with difficult customers
