An all-around payroll position requiring a well-rounded individual. Processing the day to day payroll and other duties relating to administration and reception.

Client Details

Western Australia's only wholesale fresh food central trading market. The bulk of produce is traded through the Central Trading Area (CTA), which consists of 25 wholesalers. Produce is also bought and sold through more than 30 secondary wholesalers who are located on Site.


  • Undertakes the role of Payroll Officer.
  • Provides support with General Administration tasks to other functions as required
  • Responsible for the entry of transactional financial information into the accounting application and the maintenance of source documents for the entity.
  • Responsible for debtors & incident invoicing follow-up.
  • Responsible for Legal fees deposit & Bank reconciliation.

Provides formal backup to the Reception as required including site access cards, induction and parking.


  • Staff payroll, payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG and associated other payroll payment responsibilities and reconciliations.
  • Processing timesheets through Payroll on a fortnightly basis, ensuring that hours are correctly calculated and entered and that all timesheets have been approved.
  • Liaising with Managers to chase up any outstanding timesheets and to confirm hours and entitlements claimed, as required.
  • Liaising with Human Resources to confirm employee details and entitlements.
  • Responding to pay queries from employees, supervisors and managers, with assistance from Human Resources as required.
  • Calculating and processing superannuation, long service leave board and external redundancy fund contributions.
  • Assisting in processing workers compensation and income protection insurance payments.
  • Processing corrections/back-pays and adjustments, as necessary.
  • Producing payroll reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
