This is a Senior Case Manager role undertaking full end to end case management including liability decisions for injured workers under the Queensland Workers Compensation scheme.

To be successful in this role you would demonstrate an ability to be pro-active and utilise best practice injury management skills managing a caseload of claims within the legislation or policy and achieve compliance with the performance measures. You will also be instrumental to the coaching and development of team including more junior case managers.

This will be a permanent position commencing from June 2021 based in the Brisbane office.

Your Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of complex work-related injury and illness claims
  • Collaborating with stakeholders (injured workers, employers and providers) to deliver personalised claims management strategies that support the achievement of high quality outcomes
  • Working in accordance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
  • Providing a service experience that is tailored, effective and client focused.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience in Queensland worker’s compensation claims management or from an Allied Health background;
  • Personal injury experience in alternative schemes is also highly desirable
  • An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric support;
  • A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organisational and coordination skills;
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn;
  • Sound analytical, problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management;
  • Be outcome/results focused
