Key leadership position to provide oversight of the coordination of clinical services.

Your new company
We are currently working with a not for profit organisation that provides a variety of healthcare and clinical services to the community. Predominantly in the southern suburbs they operate a number of services including a national mental health service.

Your new role
As the Clinical Lead you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the centre team to ensure day to day operations are carried out in line with service expectations. You will provide clinical support and supervision to ensure those reporting to you, including provisional psychologists receive adequate guidance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the delivery of evidence based mental health services
  • Provide expertise and clinical leadership to practitioners
  • Maintain a small clinical case load
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development for the centre
  • Manage rosters and client case loads to ensure service delivery is to a high standard
  • Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with governing bodies and professional standards
  • Participate in relevant training and development activities

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will be a Psychologist with proven experience supporting clinicians in a leadership capacity. You will have specialist experience supporting youth in a mental health setting and a passion for person centred practice. Key requirements include:

  • Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
  • Desirable: approval to provide supervision to clinical placement students
  • Advanced clinical skills in triage, assessment and referrals
  • Demonstrated management experience of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proven experience managing a clinical case load including young people at risk
  • Ability to complete detailed and accurate reports
  • Ability to support allied health clinicians in their case load management
  • WWCC
  • National police clearance
  • WA Driver's License

What you'll get in return
In return for your commitment to this leadership position you will receive a salary between $80,000-$90,000 + Super + Salary packaging. You will also have the opportunity to lead in a growth position where you will have a key role in developing the team and centre's culture.
