The Opportunity

ed within Council’s City Safety & Amenity department, this opportunity will see you responsible for the service delivery of Council’s parking enforcement strategies. You will be accountable for effectively and efficiently enforcing all Acts and Regulations as authorised by Council, in addition to undertaking community education and liaising with the Moonee Valley community.

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a roster system which operates through Monday to Sunday from 6am to 12am (midnight) and on occasion conducting duties on a 24/7 roster Monday to Sunday. Hours worked outside Council’s Ordinary Span of Hours (Monday to Friday between 6.00am and 7.00pm) will attract the relevant Penalty Rate as defined in Council’s Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020.


& Experience
  • Certificate IV in Government or knowledge and skills through on the job training
  • Ability to make decisions about the application of prescribed rules and the procedures set out in the Road Safety Act and Regulations, Local Laws and other relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to understand and deal with public complaints as well as resolve disputes.
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check.
