JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a global full-service clinical research organization (CRO) in South Yarra seeking a Contract Specialist.

You will be joining a small team in Melbourne and you will have contract negotiation experience in the CRO/Pharma industry.

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong influencing and negotiation ability. You will have a strong commercial background and be in an expert in contract management.

Your Main Responsibilities Include

  • Liaising between sponsors and investigative sites
  • Develop and implement commercial and contracting frameworks
  • Negotiating contracts and budgets
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring negotiation occurs within appropriate timelines
  • Providing expert advice to key stakeholders regarding contract strategies
Key Requirements
  • Relevant Bachelor degree
  • Similar experience in the Clinical Research /Pharma/HealthCare industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen, contract management and risk management skills
  • Pricing and modelling skill
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Experience with contract and budget negotiations within the industry
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • High problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional numerical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including; Word, Excel and Outlook
  • High attention to detail
