JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client who are a large global transport and logistics company are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their Sea Expert Team in Derrimut.

In order to be successful in this role you will be required to have outstanding interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail with experience in LCL and perishables.

Key Responsibilities

  • To create shipment details
  • To coordinate with customer care, haulers and carriers for the export of shipment
  • Creating shipping files
  • Reviewing shipping instructions including
  • Adhering to country regulations and exporting compliance
  • Reporting problems, disputes or discrepancies to management
  • To monitor performance of carriers and other vendors
  • Assisting the Sales and Customer Care Team on Account implementation
Key Requirements
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding
  • LCL experience (Less than Container Load)
  • Perishable shipping Experience
  • Experience in a similar logistics role
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • Strong analytical and organising skills
  • Team player
  • Time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
