We are seeking a Compositor to seamlessly integrate all elements / layers of a shot, whether live action or computer generated, and provide work of a consistently high standard.

This is a full time role based in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Must have a demonstrated talent for the seamless integration of live action and CGI sources.
  • Must have an advanced and proven knowledge of greenscreen / bluescreen extraction, keying techniques, tracking and colour correction.
  • Must have a critical eye for detail and the ability to consistent produce work of a high standard and be able to accept and enact feedback
  • The ability to quickly interpret client and supervisor briefs, notes and direction and devise effective solutions is required.
  • Fluency in Nuke and / or other industry standard, node-based compositing software required.
  • A strong understanding of contemporary 2D compositing techniques in the appropriate rendering software, primarily Nuke, but also proficient with Mocha, Photoshop and similar in dustry required.
  • Must have experience working within a production pipeline and display strong creative approaches and problem solving techniques.
  • Must have the ability to be flexible and able to work within timelines. Further, the ability to reasonably estimate time and scope of work for an assigned task, and choose the best approach to achieve creative requirements in the scheduled time.
  • The ability to provide guidance to junior members of staff is desirable.

Must Have


  • 5+ years experience in VFX compositing.
  • Proven ability in nuke and mocha.
  • A keen understanding of photographic cues.

Good To Have

  • Degree or Diploma preferred
  • Knowledge of Photoshop or other 2d applications.
  • Knowledge of python or TCL scripting languages
