Your New Company

You will get to work directly with some of Australia's smartest entrepreneurs, business leaders and high growth, disruptive companies, across a broad range of industries, giving you valuable experience that you can use to keep building your career in public relations and communications.

Your new role

You will be overseeing the day-to-day account managers of a small portfolio of highly engaged companies. Creating and executing quarterly public relations strategy plans for your accounts with the goal of building their brands and delivering a portfolio of media clippings that align with their business objectives. You will be working closely with your team, including an account director, to support you in your continuous growth in the role and the execution of your best work.

Key Duties

  • Research and strategy development.
  • Building tiered media lists.
  • B2B and B2C public relations campaigns.
  • News angle creation for media and speaking engagements.
  • Copywriting including pitches and media releases.
  • Media relations.
  • Case study development.
  • LinkedIn management.
  • Client management.

Your Skills And Experience
  • 5+ years Account Management expereience within Public Relations.
  • Relevant experience in B2B, tech and corporate communications is a MUST.
  • Fantastic media relations skills and an understanding of the Australian media landscape.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
  • A growth mindset and passion for storytelling.
  • An attitude that's focused on getting stuff done.
  • Highly adaptive to change.
  • Enjoy being part of a collaborative, team environment.
