About The Role

Randstad is seeking experienced Policy to Information Officers to work with councils located in Sydney CBD and Eastern Suburbs.

Your main responsibilities will be to oversee the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, process and determine Formal and Informal GIPA (Government Information Public Access Act) applications and carry out related research activities in relation to public access.

You will be supporting the Governance & Council Support team, and have ongoing training and support from all managers and colleagues.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess previous local government experience, with working knowledge of policy development and processing GIPA applications.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in the review and management of all matters relating to the Government Information Public Access Act 2009 (GIPA)
  • Experience and knowledge of local government legislation, functions and policies
  • Previous experience in formal record keeping and database management on TRIM, Objective, SAP, Concur, Pathway, Dataworks, TechOne, InfoCouncil, Sharepoint or QBE
