About us

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer, and stronger Victoria.

Victim Services Support and Reform (VSSR) is responsible for the delivery and reform of services to victims of crime, placing victims at the centre of our justice system.

About the role

The role will be directly positioned in the department's Technology Solutions business unit and will report into VSSR for the duration. There will be a high degree of consultation and engagement across Technology Solutions, VSSR and key stakeholders including business and third-party organisations where appropriate.

As an ICT Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • leading the planning and delivery of strategic ICT initiatives, projects, and reform work as part of the Victims Service Review
  • providing high quality expert advice, to improve service delivery value and quality of internal and external VSSR services
  • establishing collaborative partnerships, and effective stakeholder management, ensuring responsive, transparent delivery of business priorities thus achieving positive outcomes.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • sound knowledge and understanding of business applications, and understanding of project, software, and architecture methodologies
  • proven experience in working on end to end transformation reform
  • demonstrated experience in addressing complex issues confidently with stakeholders, using influence and expert analysis
  • a tertiary qualifications in ICT or a business discipline would be highly regarded.
