The role is a Sydney based role to drive sales growth in the NSW, ACT and QLD territory, though a mix of generating new opportunities to acquiring new customers

The role reports to the Senior Sales Director – ANZ and the role has the capacity for progression within the company

The Sales Manager will be responsible for helping execute the sales development plans to ultimately meet and exceed booking targets and ensuring successful and broad deployment of the Uniphore portfolio across the territory.

Ability to develop a plan and sufficient pipeline coverage to meet Quarterly targets

Your Responsibilities

• Build and align with the Uniphore’s Go-to-Market plan to develop and own accountability for the territories targeted accounts

• Named Account penetration, account planning and opportunity management

• Focus on selling into accounts with 200+ agents

• Developing relationships within the accounts to assist in gaining ‘mind share’ as it relates to sales and marketing programs

• Be responsible for the entire sales funnel, from Identify and qualify new sales opportunities (inbound and outbound);

• Prepare and submit proposals according to the profile of each client;

• Communicate accurate and realistic forecast information to the management team per our process and policy

• Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI

• Financial Services Industry; namely Banking, insurance, Wealth Management, Superannuation, Insurance, Health Insurance

• Retail Energy Industry; Electricity and Gas retailers,

• Service Providers : MSP’s, Tier 1 and 2 Telco’s, NBN and other service providers with Cx competencies

• Health Sector

• Government Institutions

Your Qualification

• BA/BS degree or equivalent (MBA nice to have)

• 5+ years of above quota sales experience as a Sales Manager (Individual Contributor)

• Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally

• Enterprise sales experience with and actionable rolodex of decision makers

• Experience working with Channel partners or executing deals direct

• Thorough understanding of one of the Contact Center, Customer Experience or Digital transformation markets

• Direct Enterprise SW selling experience to large enterprises companies

• Experience, selling complex, large-scale projects to the key customers in the territory.

• Very comfortable in the “C” suite with a track record of closing software licensing and PS deals

• Solution and Consultative Selling Skills

• Ability to effectively present technical information to a non technical audience

• Qualify inbound leads and run new business sales cycles from end to end

• Conduct needs assessment calls with specific prospects

• Demonstrated track record in the planning, development, and implementation of new business activity involving leading-edge technology.
