Provide guidance and support for academic staff in the use of learning and teaching technologies.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

As a Learnline Support Officer, you will work collaboratively to support academic staff in the use of learning and teaching technologies to enhance the online experience of CDU students. This will include the provision of helpdesk operations, development of support resources and other initiatives across higher and vocational education to optimise the use of learning technologies that contribute to the compliance and improvement of online course and unit design.

A skilful and enthusiastic communicator, you will effectively and constructively communicate complex technologies and processes to non-technical staff and will display an outstanding commitment to the highest levels of customer service.

To be successful, you will have education, training and or relevant experience in the support of technology enabled learning processes and systems equivalent to a tertiary level qualification. Prior experience working with Learning Management Systems, (ideally Blackboard Learn) is preferred, and an advanced level of technical proficiency in the use of technologies and materials development applications will support your application.
