About The Role

The purpose of this role is to manage the accountable Portfolio relationship, driving the delivery of data requirements across Data & Enterprise Technology (DET) to agreed priorities to a diverse mix of stakeholders within the business units.

The Delivery & Engagement Manager has the following areas of responsibility:

  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Demand pipeline leadership
  • Business prioritisation leadership
  • High Level Concept ownership
  • Business analysis
  • Value Management
  • Delivery Management

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical consultation and direction to teams and the business with a view to assist with business thinking and definition of data solutions
  • Establish a position as an expert in the Agile delivery of business data and application solutions that drives innovation and business outcomes
  • Work with key business stakeholders to ensure the most appropriate, cost effective and timely solutions are delivered
  • Ensure a sound translation of business objectives into clear streams of work, aligning team delivery with the business strategy
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure that the program approach and deliverables comply with delivery standards and architectural models
  • Build a culture of professionalism and program accountability within the portfolio
  • Manage business expectations across the portfolio so that deliverables and key dates match expectations
  • Project Pipeline Prioritisation input and Portfolio Planning prior to work progressing through delivery pipelines

Skills & Experience
  • Degree in IT, Business or proven industry experience in technology delivery
  • Agile ways of working and project experience
  • Customer relationship management experience
