The Role

As the Procurement Project Lead, you will be responsible for the evaluation, risk analysis and negotiations with various vendors to provide maximum business efficiency at a cost-effective rate.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out the commercial evaluation, risk analysis and lead negotiation with vendors
  • Analyse past and predicted financial data to compare past spend with proposed vendor spend
  • General reporting into the procurement manager on outcomes and project status updates.
  • Draft and develop terms and conditions sheets with external parties.
  • Design and implement financial templated that measure deliverables, charge rates and outcomes.
  • Use financial modelling and analysis to develop cost saving strategies and ensure projects are within budget.

About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management are desired
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role in a large or complex organisation
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Able to build relationships and communication with internal teams and external vendors
  • Able to work under a deadline
  • A positive and can do attitude.
